Summary
American Psycho is a novel written by Bret Easton Ellis. It tells the story of Patrick Bateman, a young, wealthy investment banker living in New York City during the late 1980s. On the surface, Bateman seems to have it all: money, power, and success. However, as the book unfolds, we are taken on a dark and gruesome journey into his twisted mind, where he engages in acts of extreme violence and sadism.
